7 Things about Me!

The beautiful Sarah from Atlantic Atlantis tagged me in a fun little game, to share 7 random facts about myself.
I hope I can think of some good ones!

1. I have a TON of freckles. Big ones, little ones, light ones, dark ones, all kinds! When I was younger, I hated them so much that I tried bleaching the ones on my arms with lemon juice! Totally stupid but I felt like such a weirdo with spots all over myself. I have two right by my mouth that I hated the most. People always joked that I had dirt on my face (real hilarious). Now I don't even notice them and I love the ones by my mouth because they are beauty marks and really...who doesn't love a beauty mark!?

2. Jeremy and I just planned a trip yesterday to go camping on Lake Erie over Memorial Day weekend. I can't wait!!

3. I don't have tv. I have A tv but not cable or rabbit ears or anything. I live on Netflix and my collection on VHS and DVDs.

4. I also don't have a microwave. I don't miss it at all, anything I ever used a microwave for I can do on the stove.

5. I can jiggle my eyes back and forth really, really fast. I used to do it all the time when I was little to freak people out. My sister, Mom and some of my Aunts can do it too. It's not so easy now since I wear contacts pretty much everyday though but if they aren't in, it's a piece of cake!

6. I know an alarmingly large amount of information about serial killers. When I was in high school I read all kinds of books about different ones and even had a favorite guy (yes, that's psychotic) but a few years ago I got rid of them all. Knowing all that stuff, I am now extremely paranoid about being murdered!

7. Because of the above fact, I much prefer living in the hood to living in the country. People in the hood just shoot you if you cross them, in the country someone will tie you up and keep you in their basement for years!

So...those are my random facts! Now I have to tag a few lovely bloggers...

Number 6= me! We should chat it up! I have countless books (true crime and historical and encyclopedias!). Have you ever been to the Museum on Death in California?! It is amazing and you would love it. I spent something like 2 or 3 hours there! Ugh! I LOVE when I have weird traits in common with awesome people!

I love hearing about serial killers. I'm a weirdo and I'm cool with it.

That's super cool that you're coming up to the lake to camp! I live right by the lake, and I enjoy going to Presque Isle every summer. My bike is itching to be ridden there, but we keep getting snow :(

I did a class on serial killers in university and it was the BEST. I loved it! You should read Hunting Humans if you haven't!

Thanks for playing alonggg, my favourite part is when you called me beautiful, haha. ♥

Those are awesome facts! I don't have cable either....love that netflix instant stream! Also, I have been thinking about getting rid of our microwave too. You really don't miss it?? I hate to think of all the harmfull effects, but I'm also a convenience queen. I debate about this one.

Oh, and I find serial killers fascinating as well. I used to watch cold case files all the time.

Thanks for tagging me!
Microwaves suck except for when I heat up my coffee and tv is horrible these days...I prefer movies so much more.

I'm a reader of serial killer books as well. I believe me, you and Courney have that in common!!

Just a curiosity.....who was your "favorite" killer?

@ Courtney - I have not been to the museum of death! I've actually never been to CA but if I ever go, that will definitely be on my things to do list! I also can't believe how much everyone is interested in serial killers too! I guess it's just so intriguing how someone could do the things they do!!

@ Erin - weirdos unite!! hehe!

@aimee - one of the things the campground website mentioned is that the sunset is amazing over the lake, i am sooo looking forward to that!

@Sarah - I don't think I have read that although it sounds super familiar! I will have to add it to my To Read list!

@Nicole - I don't have internet at home either so I can't do the netflix stream but I have the 3 discs at a time so I have a pretty good rotation. I seriously don't miss the microwave at all. Food can be reheated on the stove or in the oven and I can boil water on the stove.

@trees - that's a really nice housewarming gift! I always give plants, ha!

@Kym - from what I hear TV is pretty horrible these days. I do miss discovery and the history channel though, oh and HGTV! I love all those house hunting and home decor shows!

@ Nicole - my favorite guy is Richard Ramirez - The Night Stalker. I have no idea why, I think just the fact that he would sneak into houses through open windows (i NEVER leave windows open at night now because of this) scared the crap out of me! Oh and he isn't white which most of the more known serial killers are was intresting. I also found it hilarious when reading about him how they constantly noted that he smoked weed and listened to metal like those were reasons he killed people!

The serial killer thing is right up my ally. My mom was really into it so I grew up with it & learned a lot through my life. I told her I spent my whole childhood cultivating a paranoid adult. I have the exact same fear of being kidnapped and kept because of it. I'm glad it's not just me!

Where is this museum of Death in California? I am visiting the States/Canada at the end of the year from Vancouver to San Fran & I'd love to go!

Brooke - I'm glad I'm not the only one too!!

Trees - I looked up the museum and it's in Hollywood so you could definitely go on your way to San Diego!!
